still sick. still reading about scrabble but nearly ready to plunge into a last-minute re-reading of
the lord of the rings.
this weekend, we weeded through the fiction & kids' books & sold 3� large boxes full. we are lightening, in case we have to move over the summer to some place like new york or dc. it is so hard to be ruthless with the books but i know it is the right thing to do. if we moved to new york we could probably only afford an apartment about as big as our bathroom: no way would 50something cubic feet of books fit.
i would cull a book & toss it into one of the boxes & yell "ruthless!"
